About the Item
Danish original vintage oil on canvas painting from 1937 by artist Lars Knudsen Buus (1874-1947).
Lars Buus was a renowned painter residing in the Middelfart area of Funen, mostly known for his maritime paintings. This, rather different motive, shows a street with classical Danish houses and the Danish flag waving in the background.
The painting is signed by the artist in the lower left corner and framed in a gold painted wooden frame.
Good vintage condition. It has wear from age in the painting and on the frame. Please see the photos.
