Fine miniature portrait on vellum of a red haired woman in a pleated bonnet with matching collar. Framed in an oval format within a scroll work border. Re-mounted in a parcel gilt molding with silk spandrel under UV glass.
The portrait bears the initials "L.W.R."
France, 1793 (the year of the reign of terror).
