About the Item
Beautiful oil on canvas scene of a brook running through a woodland. Lovely old patina and warmth of tone highlight this stately piece, clearly created by a master painter. The gilt frame is original to it and the canvas is in excellent condition. All in all exudes finesse, bygone splendour and originality. Would make a wonderful centre piece and add character.
