Striking small scale painting by well known artist Parker Newton (1861-1928) of New York and Canada. Lovely painting depicting a tugboat and a boat in the background. Housed in a lovely small gold gilt frame. On artists board with a pencil signature on the back. Signed to the lower left as shown. In good original condition, could possibly benefit from a light cleaning but displays well. Sight size of painting is 12" by 8" and overall is 15 1/2" by 11 1/2". Lovely impressionist painting that would make a nice piece for a gallery wall.
