About the Item

A set of three mounted hand painted wallpaper panels in simple wood frames. Beautifully and elaborate painted scenes with birds, flowers, butterflies, cats, dogs, squirrels, fruit and foliage. Most likely this was originally part of a much larger mural. Wallpaper mounted on masonite panels. China, early to late 19th century. Please note there are some losses around the edges but not in the images.
