About the Item
Original abstract expressionist painting executed in acrylic on canvas, by Jules Granowitz, circa 1950's. Mr Granowitz was a Cooper Union trained NYC based artist who had a career in the arts . We were fortunate enough to purchase his entire known collection of paintings from a long abandoned storage unit at Cirker's Hayes in NYC, this gem was found within this lot, and we have had it re-stretched onto a new frame. The painting is in good overall condition, showing minor loss to surface, normal and consistent with age, please see images. .
