Another beautiful brutalist inspired black and brown mixed media original painting on board by designer/artist George Machado from our collection.
Titled “Oscar”. This mixed media painting in black and browns has a textured very dimensional look done on canvas board (11” x 14”). It has a great antique gold wood vintage 1970s frame made in Mexico that compliments the painting beautifully. The painting was inspired by the metal design of the late Paul Evans. Signed on verso by the artist. (George Teixeira Machado). Ready to hang. Please see other paintings available on separate listing by this talented, self-taught senior California artist who started painting in his 60s.
Please Note: This painting was used for 8 months to stage a modern masterpiece Beverly Hills Estate. It hung above the black marble firplace on a dark wanut wall behing it. It had a center eyebll spotlight on in. It was trulu spectacular at night.
