Beautiful signed painting by French artist Monique ROBERT, who has exhibited extensively in France, Switzerland, and the USA since 1971. Robert has received numerous awards and distinctions, and her works are held in private collections worldwide (notably in the USA, Japan, and across Europe).
This work features her distinctive style: bold simplified forms, rich color contrasts, and elegant composition. The scene depicts a stylized woman in a black hat standing beside a vase of flowers, rendered with vivid blues, oranges, and soft pastel tones.
Included with the painting are three original exhibition booklets/catalogs, containing the artist’s CV and career highlights. One catalog also features a text by the acclaimed French author Hervé Bazin, who praised Robert’s mastery:
