About the Item
In this listing you will find a stunning modernist painting done by Ana Marinkovic, a renowned Yugoslav artist. The artwork depicts a winter scene featuring a partially frozen river or lake, snow-covered banks and mountains, and a house nestled among the trees in the background. It is characterized by bold, rhythmic landscapes, it represents a notable example of Yugoslav art in the period between the two wars. Painted in Yugoslavia in 1923.
The painting is framed and in good condition. Size of the painting without the frame are 65x85cm. It is signed by the artist in the lower left corner by "AM. 923"
