Original oil on board; 16" x 20". Painting portrays a Native American teepee camp at base of lake with trees surrounding shoreline. In the distance we see the peak of Mt. St. Helens with smoke billowing from the top. Frame is gold with carved details.
(1937-) Hartwig has won many awards, including the Triton Museum Competition. His paintings have sold at auction - Butterfeilds, Christie's and Phillps of London. He's professionally listed in art references, including Davenports, Leonard's and Who's Who in American Art.
