About the Item
Michaelangelo Meucci (1840–1909) was an Italian artist based in the city of Florence. He was known for his paintings of birds, including dead game birds and animals. This grand masterpiece is in fantastic condition depicting a deer hanging from a trompe de chasse by the heind leg over the fireplace mantel. The painting comes with original wooden gilt frame.
