Recipient of the Puvis de Chavannes prize in 1957. Founded in 1928, this prize is awarded to a French visual artist by the National Society of Fine Arts, which includes a retrospective of the winner's work at the Museum of Modern Art of the City of Paris or the Grand Palais.
