Stunning antique oil painting by renowned American artist Henry Collins Bispham, featuring a dog and a rooster. Signed on the bottom " H.C. Bispham 1871 " and on the back it is stamped as shown in the last photograph. Measures 13.5 inches from top to bottom by 15.5 inches from side to side and 1.5 inches in depth. General wear common with older pre-owned pieces. Please note that the top half of the painting is colored differently from the bottom half, there is a possibility that a restoration was attempted or that it could have been originally created that way.
