Condition: A few minor peelings. Slight bulging in corners. Will benefit from a light surface cleaning and tightening. Nicks, scratches and some loss to frame.
Artist: Carl Budtz-Møller (b. Rødby 1882, d. 1953)
Carl Budtz-Møller was born in 1882 in southern Denmark. The Danish landscape and nature were a specialty of the artist, especially from Jutland and the island of Bornholm. These works have a subdued colour palette, and often highlighted the “Blue Hour” – the natural stage of twilight at nautical dawn or dusk when the sun is below the horizon.
