About the Item
This interesting oil and pencil on canvas is by Michael Neville Seward Snow, 1930 - 2012.
Titled 'Ornos' and signed verso in 1964.
Gorgeous subtle colours.
Snow was born in Manchester and after attending school in Rugby, settled in Cornwall in 1952. He didn't forget his roots however, he was one of the founders of the Peterloo Group in 1957 and had a solo exhibition there in 1959. Other shows included Exeter, where he also taught.
