About the Item

Brazilia Artist : Chebisiem Tribute to a country that I have kept in my heart... Oscar Niemeyer (Oscar Ribeiro de Almeida de Niemeyer Soares) participates in the creation of the new administrative capital of Brazil. Brazilia is a mix between modernity and Brazilian culture, developed by this rebel and talented architect who breaks the codes of ambient "classism". Dimensions: 166.5/126.5 Mixed media on old paper I am self-taught as they say in the industry because I did not go to any art school. I have a classic baccalaureate in literature and language then Deug literature. And to work I did a BTS in international trade. I very quickly moved into the pharmaceutical industry. I stayed there for 15 years then I branched out into design. I created a line of interior textile design "Échappées Intérieures" with which I set up at the Saint Ouen flea market. In this workshop boutique I started drawing on Chinese paper at the flea market in my work environment. I treat paper as I treat textiles. I work on memory and the traces it leaves on paper. I bring roundness and color where blue and black dominate. I caress the straight lines and shatter right angles. I am in the antechamber of creation... the medium is the subject. As I grew up in a world of seamstresses, I learned that the most subtle details are the elements that speak best of the work. So I shape my support, I extract the best from it to start again and again with the same fixed idea. What is memory? Can't we revisit it to reach the truth, its truth!?
