Germinal: Germination sounds like revolution, right? Chebisiem artist "In the flaming rays of the star, on this morning of youth, it was with this rumor that the countryside was pregnant. Germinal Émile Zola Dimensions: 202.2/103.2 Mixed media on old paper I am self-taught as they say in the industry because I did not go to any art school. I have a classic baccalaureate in literature and language then Deug literature. And to work I did a BTS in international trade. I very quickly moved into the pharmaceutical industry. I stayed there for 15 years then I branched out into design. I created a line of interior textile design "Échappées Intérieures" with which I set up at the Saint Ouen flea market. In this workshop boutique I started drawing on Chinese paper at the flea market in my work environment. I treat paper as I treat textiles. I work on memory and the traces it leaves on paper. I bring roundness and color where blue and black dominate. I caress the straight lines and shatter right angles. I am in the antechamber of creation... the medium is the subject. As I grew up in a world of seamstresses, I learned that the most subtle details are the elements that speak best of the work. So I shape my support, I extract the best from it to start again and again with the same fixed idea. What is memory? Can't we revisit it to reach the truth, its truth!?
