About the Item
Michel Guérin (1940-2013) was a French painter and sculptor, best known for his works that explore duality and symbolism. In his work The Two Faces (original title unknown), he draws inspiration from the concept of duality—a theme that recurs throughout much of his art. Guérin often created pieces that examine the tension between opposing elements: light and dark, joy and sorrow, the inner and outer self.
