About the Item

Decorate a study or office with this elegant pair of antique paintings. Created in France circa 1880 and painted on board, both colorful art work are set in a carved gilt wood frame. Each composition depicts a traditional pastoral scene; one with two couples greeting each other, the other with women and children. The charming naive paintings are in excellent condition commensurate with age and use with rich colors, and wonderful details. Measures: 12.25" W x 15" H.
