A pair of lovely French mid 19th century Napoleon III period oil on canvas, dated 1870. Each painting is within an molded edge frame with giltwood inner border. One painting depicts a duck amidst her ducklings in tall water flora. The other shows a fenced in garden with a mother hen and her chicks. Wonderful rich hues throughout.
