Pair of Large 19th Century French still life oil on canvas paintings.In distressed giltwood frames showing gesso, both signed A. Bechard. One depicting asparagus bundles, cherries and a cheese beneath a glass dome, beautifully capturing the light. The other is of fish and shellfish. The frames show traces of historic woodworm.
