“Paris Street Scene”

24 by 36 in. W/frame 31 1/2 by 43 ½ in.
Although Picot studied briefly at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Rouen he was essentially a self-taught artist and began painting at a young age. Until 1956 he took part in small group exhibitions and regional salons in Rouen and Normandy . He held solo shows in Paris as well. He is known for his Parisian street scenes and famous landmarks of the city.
