Beautiful pastel painting "Vase with Flowers" executed by Jaak Van Den Seylbergh in the 1940s-50s.The author falls into an exquisitely academic type of production,within a conception in which the naturalistic rendering becomes so important as to verge on hyperrealism.In this work the author gives us a magnificent example of his executive ability,the maniacal perfection in the smallest details,the choice of color to great effect,the blue of the vase characterized by light and shadow,the red of the poppies that changes hue according to the light,the green of the leaves of a unique delicacy.Jaak Van Den Seylbergh is a painter of Belgian origin,who lived between 1884 and 1960,his production focuses on still lifes,particularly flower compositions,which he interprets masterfully with a remarkable pastel technique,his artistic language follows the Flemish tradition of a realistic and detailed representation of reality.
