Selection of oil paintings by Philip Bornarth, American, circa 1940s. They are priced at $650 each. Philip Bornarth was born in Chicago, IL in 1929. He attended the Art Institute of Chicago and received a Master of Art Education from Northwestern University. He taught drawing and painting at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and later at Rochester Institute of Technology. These paintings were purchased as canvases and have recently been mounted on wood stretchers. The painting pictured on the left of the first photo measures 29"H x 22"W. The painting in the middle measures 30"H x 21"W. The painting picture on the right measures 28"H x 22"W.
