About the Item

Wojciech Gerson (1831-1901), a renowned Polish Realism artist, has created a unique masterpiece - a painting depicting a child adorned in a green dress, seated gracefully in an armchair. This remarkable artwork bears the distinctive craquelure effect and is signed with the name "A. Gerson," which is the pseudonym of Wojciech Gerson, the talented painter himself. It was refinished and repaired by an expert Old Masters conservator.
