About the Item
Original oil on board; 6" x 12". Painting portrays a Native American teepee camp scene in a clearing. Behind the camp is a mountain range with distant trees. Colors are bright and vibrant, reminiscent of spring. Frame is gold with detailed edge.
(1937- ). Hartwig has won many awards, including the Triton Museum Competition. His paintings have sold at auction - Butterfields, Christie's and Phillips of London. He's professionally listed in art references, including Davenports, Leonard's and Who's Who in American Art.
