Well-executed oil on canvas painting after the original 1653 painting by Diego Velasquez, which hangs at the Prado Museum in Madrid. This one is slightly larger in size even than the original.
The signature in the bottom right-hand corner reads "Velasquez, Museo Nacional, Madrid 1915, Copia,....", with the signature of the actual painter barely legible.
