Henri laville was born on February 7, 1916 in Bordeaux and died on December 27, 1995 at the age of 79 years. Very attached to his city, he entered the beautiful Arys de Bordeaux and was laureate of the Academy of Sciences, Arts and Letters of that same city. He was also a student of the fine arts of Paris, following the obstination of a scholarship. Pensioner at Casa Velasquez in Madrid, a prize will be awarded. He will also obtain the Vermeil medal of the city of Paris. Faust and Marguerite
Faust is tired of his old life and wants to kill himself. In a final burst of bitter anger, he invokes the devil. The devil appears in the guise of Mephistopheles and offers him a pact: he will grant him what he desires most in the world in exchange for his servitude. Faust asks him for youth and his help in seducing Marguerite. When he achieves his goal, bound by his contract with the devil, Faust abandons the latter who is waiting for her child. Filled with remorse, he returns to her, but kills Valentin, Marguerite's brother who tries to stop him, during a duel. He then tries to save the life of Marguerite who is imprisoned for infanticide, but he fails. Like this multifaceted character, the vocal treat-ment chosen by Gounod is differentiated: sometimes very lyrical with touching flights, sometimes very cold and repetitive to evoke her detachment from the world of men.
Marguerite is young and naive. She lets herself be seduced by the charming and mysterious character of Faust and thus causes her own downfall as well as that of her family (her brother and her child will die).

Pierre Legendre, born in 1932 in Haute-Marne, moved to Paris at the age of 22. After classes at the Estienne school in Paris as well as those of the Beaux-Arts, he worked for several big houses and was the originator of logos for big brands like Hermès or Nina Ricci.
He entered the academy of the painter Henri GOETZ, which allowed him to familiarize himself with abstract, geometric art.
He exhibited from the 1970s, as in 1979 at UNESCO in Paris.
A discreet painter, he nevertheless participated in the 80s and 90s in many artists' salons (Comparaison, Grand et Jeunes d'Aujourd'hui, Réalités Nouvelles).
