Franz von Persoglia (born 1852 in Ljubljana; died 1912 in Vienna) was an Austrian history and genre painter.
Von Persoglia studied at the Vienna Academy (under Eduard von Engerth) and was a genre painter of the Romantic era, which experienced a resurgence of highly realistic depictions, particularly in the second half of the 19th century.
In addition to these realistic depictions, Persoglia also created numerous paintings in the Neo-Rococo style, depicting scenes of high society.
