About the Item

Three-dimensional geometric acrylic on canvas titled “Shooting Star” c1970. there is a label on the back from MARI Galleries in Larchmont, New York… the triangular shaped Star is painted in shades of black grey and white… Incredible precision in the painted rays that emit from the central point of the Star . The canvas is stretched perfectly to the center where the highest point is approximately 4 inches higher than the three outer points.. there is an optical dimension to this art. A challenging, geometric piece to paint… Canvas stretched on a custom plywood frame by Nagano… It measures 40 inches across the top and each of the sides measure 36 inches
