Lovely copy of the original painting, The Spring, by the German master, Ludwig Knaus (German, 1829-1910), mounted in its original and truly magnificent ornate giltwood frame measuring 31 by 40 by 3 3/4 inches. Stretcher 28 by 28 inches, apparently unsigned on front, and marked on verso:
