Oil on panel by Thomas Corwin Lindsay (1838-1907). Landscape view of the White Mountains in New Hampshire. Rocks and pine trees in the foreground overlook the mountain peaks that stretch to the horizon under a blue sky. Signed lower left. Overall dimensions 36" wide x 19 1/2" high. Image size 31" x 15 1/2". Minor wear to frame consistent with age. Thomas Corwin Lindsay was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and was a founding member of the Cincinnati Art Club.
