1999 Limited Edition Print on Canvas of “Carmel, Sunset on Ocean Avenue” by Thomas Kinkade. This limited EP edition is #418 of 680 and features a romantic, nostalgic street scene of Carmel, California, just after a gentle rain shower. Shops glow warmly with golden light. Classic cars and bicycles evoke a mid-20th century Americana charm. Pedestrians stroll under the tress, and the sky is tinged with hues of sunset pinks and purples, creating a peaceful, calming atmosphere. Signed by artist with his faith verse, John 3:16 noted. Brass nameplate on bottom front of frame with title and artist name.
This piece is a Canvas-Charter, noted on the Certificate of Authenticity which is on the reverse side of frame. Numbered print: 418/680/E/P. There are three metal plates on back of frame. Left corner indicates Limited Edition and that it was hand-crafted at Lightpost Publishing Studios. Right corner plate denotes Authenticity, validating it as an authorized Thomas Kinkade piece and denoting DNA Technologies, DNA Matrix Double Security System. The date Feb 22, 1999 is stamped on back frame and a smaller metal plate states, “Thomas Kinkade Painter of Light”.
