Naomi describes her process as “painting with fabric.” Beyond painting the blankets, Naomi uses other processes such as dyeing, cutting, appliquéing, and embroidery to make the Quilt Paintings. Each Quilt Painting is unique.

Fort Makers is a New York City-based studio with a multidisciplinary approach to contemporary art, furniture, stage and product design.
