Titled "Time Out" by French Born Artist, Raymonde Desabres Plaut, (1925-2020).
A calming and serene abstract of a singular figure in contemplation. Painting is in beautiful condition.
Born in Le Chatlet, France. As a teenager, Desabres Plaut became a member of the French Resistance where she engaged in intelligence activities aimed at identifying and stopping Nazi troops. Eventually immigrating to the United States, her work has won many awards. She has a piece in the permanent collect of the State Museum of Pennsylvania in Harrisburg which she called home.
