About the Item

A beautiful example of English family portraits The family of baron Tollemache have owned Helmington hall in Ipswich, England for hundreds of years and served as knights and squires and barons. They still own Helmington hall which is a castle surrounded by a mote and has formal gardens and a church from 1258. The church houses many portraits of the family among other treasures. These portraits are descendants of the family.
