Great WPA period painting featuring visitors to the zoo with aviaries in the background, possibly NYC. Some of the visitors have a very Botero feel. Oil on canvas, unframed measuring 25.25" x 30.25". The painting can be hung as is, or it could be framed. The painting is signed in the lower right Robert Cole and inscribed on the upper edge, Robert Cole 12/35, for the date of 1935.
