About the Item
Wyoming Meadow Camp by Heinie Hartwig. 9” x 12”; oil on board. Painting portrays a Native American teepee camp in a clearing at the edge of a body of water. In the distance are snowcapped mountain ranges. Colors are warm and inviting, framed against a bright blue sky. Frame is a vintage gold, ornately decorated. Would display nicely in a rustic home or cabin.
(1937 - ) Hartwig has won many awards, including the Triton Museum Competition. His paintings have sold at auction - Butterfields, Christie's and Phillips of London. He's professionally listed in art references, including Davenports, Leonard's and Who's Who in American Art.
