Zocalo Oil Painting by Mexican Artist Jesus Ortiz Tajonar
Offered for sale is an original oil painting of Mexico City by the Mexican artist Jesus Ortiz Tajonar (1919-1990). According to the British Museum, prior to 1984 some of Tajonar's works were previously attributed to Diego Rivera. The work is signed in the lower right. The painting is displayed in a vintage gilt-wood frame with a hanging wire provided.
