About the Item

Black and white photo of craftsmen preparing and assembling a boats skeletal system suspended from the beams and rafters to work all sides and underneath the boat. Looking on is a gentleman in a fedora hat, who might be the shop foreman or the owner. Raised stamped in the lower right corner, Lewin Levick, New York and the numbers, 87286 in the lower left corner. Circa 1926-30. There is an upside down New York State license plate leaning on the lower portion of the iron pot belly stove. Good overall condition with some minor foxing and staining along the margin. The backing matte board has losses and one corner is missing. Overall dimensions with the matte are approximately 17" wide x 13.88" high. The size of the actual photo is approximately 12.75" wide x 10.5" high.
