This large-format photograph (50 x 70 cm) shows Brazilian model and photographer Mary Pio on a boat in Rio de Janeiro. The vertical structure of the photograph is composed by the boat that cuts the photograph in the middle into two sections. Pio's reflection on the boat creates a double which added to the black and white image gives a spectacular natural and poetic look to photography. Pio's sculptural body at the top of the boat creates a harmonious line with the mast finalizing the composition with the graphics of the boat.
The artistic direction of photography is Mary Pio. And the photographic execution by Ângelo Pastorello.
The printing is of high quality in Fine Art with mineral pigmentation, on 100% matte cotton paper Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308gsm, 0.5 cm white border was made in one of Brazil's most renowned photography workshops, the "Studio RGB workshop" in Sao Paulo.
The photograph is laminated and framed with anti-reflective and anti-UV glass in museum quality by the "Modneu workshop" in Paris.
