Taken from a signed portfolio the photographer gave Bankhead, each photograph has been custom framed and matted. Each photograph has the photographer's stamp on the back.
These iconic portraits of Tallulah Bankhead were taken from a sitting she had in Halsman's New York studio in the early 1950's. She is decked out in full Bankhead regalia: cigarette, glass of scotch, and the famous dress Edith Head copied for Bette Davis to wear in ALL ABOUT EVE.
We have several photographs available, and have grouped them into collections of four for viewing online. If you do not see an individual image the photo has been sold. Only 3 of these are available. The photographs are $2,500.00 EACH, $10,000.00 for a group of four.

A complete black and white photography portfolio consisting of ten iconic silver gelatin prints of Marilyn Monroe by photographer Philippe Halsman (1906-1979), rarely available as a set of all original and great condition. Taken between 1952 and 1959 and published by the Neikrug Press 1981 posthumously, the photos were printed by Stephen Gersh under the supervision of Yvonne Halsman and released in a limited edition of 250. Most portfolios are believed to have been broken up into individual pieces.
