Original photographic production still for the first Planet of the Apes movie in 1968.
This cult sci-fi film was directed by Franklin J. Schaffner, and stars Charlton Heston. It was a hugely successful film, which led to four sequels between 1970-1973, and further films in 2001, 2011, 2014 and 2017.
This piece is framed in a Sapele wood frame with acid free card mounts and UV Plexiglass. There is a perspex window on the back of the frame showing the original
Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation film information.
The size given is before framing, the framed size is 13/7/8 x 15 3/4 in. (35.2 x 40 cm)
