About the Item

This photograph, depicting a jewelry box, was created by Bernard Darot. While it is unsigned, it comes from a lot of photographs both created and signed by Darot, confirming its provenance. Bernard Darot was born in Saint-Cloud (Hauts-de-Seine) on October 31, 1934. A student of architect Louis Arretche, he was admitted to the second class on July 10, 1957, received a mention for a submitted project and the Prix des Anciens in October 1958, progressed to the first class on December 13, 1960, was awarded the Second Medal in the Bourgeois and Godeboeuf Competition on December 5, 1961, and graduated on June 16, 1965.
