Elba Alvarez, Venezuelan Artist: B. 1944-2005. Elba Alvarez, a Venezuelan-born abstract painter. She lives and works in the United States. Alvarez trained in Paris and moved to the United States in 1968, bringing with her the ideas and visions that fill her cool yet colorful canvases. Elba Alvarez was represented by Robert Aaron Young and the Center Art Galleries and has had major shows worldwide.
