Czech film posters rarely fail to deliver imaginative, totally different and original artwork and the one for 70s Italian rom-com starring Dustin Hoffman, Alfredo, Alfredo!, is no exception. A fabulous poster and rare in this larger Czech size.
Like their neighbours in Poland, the designers of the Czech Republic, free from commercial constraints and enjoying far greater artistic freedom than their Western counterparts, treated film poster design as an art form. The result is an immensely powerful, wildly original and beautiful body of work.
