About the Item

Very rare original US film poster for Leslie Martinson's 1966 Batman. This very large poster was printed in four sheets and designed to be pasted on billboards. Therefore only unused examples survived, of which very few have surfaced. This film was based on the popular Batman television series, and was the first full-length feature film of the DC Comics' character Batman. Batman was played by Adam West, and Burt Ward played Robin. This poster is conservation linen backed and it would be shipped rolled in a very strong tube and sent by Federal Express.
