Big the 1988 American fantasy comedy movie directed by Penny Marshall, staring Tom Hanks as Josh Baskin, a pre-adolescent boy whose wishes to be "big"! Fantastic innovative artwork features on this Czech A1 poster by Bartosova.
Like their neighbours in Poland, the designers of the Czech Republic, free from commercial constraints and enjoying far greater artistic freedom than their Western counterparts, treated film poster design as an art form. The result is an immensely powerful, wildly original and beautiful body of work.
