Designed by acclaimed British illustrator Tom Chantrell (1916–2001), one of the most prolific and influential poster artists of the 20th century. Tom Chantrell (1916 - 2001) arguably the greatest British film poster designer, certainly one of its most prolific, reputedly finishing some 800 designs. Born the son of a circus performer in Manchester, England, he started work in advertising as an illustrator.
