Notes: This poster has edited by Chanel and the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, NYC in 1997, from the screen-print made by Andy Warhol for Chanel in 1985.
The screen-print made by Andy Warhol for Chanel in 1985 was of an edition of 190 copies + 30 artist proofs and measured 38" x 38" and was published by Ronald Feldman Fine Arts New York Inc., who also kindly authorized this edition of these offset posters in 1997.
Provenance: Collected directly from the bus stop shelters in France.
